The Charlotte Chapter of the Financial Planning Association will hold its Financial Planning Week Oct. 2-8. If you have a personal finance question you want a planner to answer -- for free -- this is your week.

The FPA, along with CharlotteSaves and Alliance Credit Counseling, will host a certified financial planner call-in from 4-6 p.m. Oct. 2-6. Call this toll-free number, 1-866-655-7133, to ask a planner your question.

The FPA is also holding "Ask a Financial Planner Day for College Students" from noon to 2 p.m. Oct. 3 at Johnson C. Smith University.
